Del Gomes, a graduate in music performance from the University of California, Fresno, is a recently retired teacher from Fresno who moved to Arroyo Grande with his wife, Velma.  He plays in the San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra, San Luis Chamber Orchestra, San Luis Obispo County Band, Cuesta Wind Ensemble, Hancock College Band, Mud Skippers Dixieland Band, Morro Bay White Caps, Atascadero Summer Festival Band, and the Coastal Winds Clarinet Quartet.
